Reporters Track

Cost: $1000

To be competitive in today's market, a reporter must have real-time capabilities.  Whether you use digital or analog recording equipment, we know making the move to a real-time system can be intimidating.

    • If you own Eclipse Vox but haven't had formal hands-on training, this track is for you!
    • If you have recently certified using Dragon and Eclipse, this track will focus on things you didn't learn in school.  In this track you will learn the advanced, professional side of Eclipse including microphone and sound settings.
    • If you are ready to upgrade to a CAT system but you're not sure where to start, you can use the student version of Eclipse Vox while you learn!

Realtime Voice Academy instructors will hold your hand throughout the course so your transition will be easy and fun.
Trying to learn everything from a book or a ten-hour seminar is virtually impossible.

The Reporter's Track includes 12 weeks of step-by-step Dragon training followed by basic and intermediate Eclipse Vox training.  Upon completion, you may be eligible for 20 hours of NVRA or state continuing education credits.  Since all training is live, you can ask questions as they arise and receive instantaneous help.

All reporters will receive the Welcome to Dragon 101 manual for Dragon Professional Individual 15 and the Realtime Voice Academy Eclipse Vox manual.

Classes are on-site in Lawrenceville, Georgia, or online on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. eastern time.  Classes range between two and three hours according to content.

All classes are recorded and are available for you to view - or review - at your convenience.

We know life can sometimes get in the way of our plans, so reporters are welcome to repeat as many classes as they desire.
